Join Susan Lee-Pullen for this series of five dinner conversations exploring the creative process.
By attending you’ll get to:
connect with other creative people.
PLAY--each dinner will include a quick project just for fun.
reflect on your own success and strengths.
hear the wisdom of others at the table and get ideas for other approaches that might work for you.
be truly heard.
Creativity Conversations revolve around the joys and pitfalls of the creative process. Each month we'll have a different focus:
Wed., June 17, 6:00-8:30pm
"I’m just not feeling very inspired.”
How do I nurture my creativity and come up with fresh ideas?
Wed., July 15, 6:00-8:30pm
"How do I get off the couch and get started?"
I have good intentions, but I’m not getting around to my project.
Wed., Aug. 19, 6:00-8:30pm
“How do I stay true to the original idea while being open to changes?”
How can I keep my commitment to the vision and be open to serendipity? What do I do when it turns out I can’t do it the way I had in mind?
Wed., Sept. 16, 6:00-8:30pm
“It seems like it wasn’t a great idea after all. Now what?”
How do I move forward when I’m afraid someone’s already done it or I’m wasting time/materials?
Wed., Oct. 21, 6:00-8:30pm
“How can I stay focused?”
How do I start and finish a project without feeling overwhelmed?
All dinners will take place at Bai Pai Thai Restaurant in Seattle's Ravenna neighborhood.
Each dinner discussion is facilitated. Susan brings her experience as an artist and training as a Kaizen-Muse Creativity Coach to the conversation.
Kaizen-Muse Creativity Coaching incorporates play and small steps to help people get past procrastination, perfectionism, self-sabotage, fears, and feeling overwhelmed so they can enjoy making their creative dreams a reality.

"Good questions--ones that we care about and that we want to answer—call us outward and to each other. They are an invitation to explore, to venture out, to risk, to listen, to abandon our positions. Good questions help us become both curious and uncertain, which is always the road that opens us to the surprise of new insight." -Margaret Wheatley
